Before you start work, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, have a valid medical examination, and complete health and safety training.
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
- Be well-rested and sober when you work.
Before starting work:
- Connect the charger to the power supply.
- Check the voltage and current of the charger (24 V / 40 A).
- Make sure that the battery has the correct capacity (210 Ah).
- Connect the battery to the charger using a working plug.
During operation:
- Ensure continuous ventilation of the room.
- Do not interrupt charging by removing the plug.
- Do not charge several batteries at the same time.
- Keep away from sources of sparks or fire – there is a risk of explosion!
- Do not touch the cables or connectors during charging.
After finishing work
- Disconnect the battery when the green LED is lit continuously.
- Disconnect the charger from the mains.
- Tidy up your work area.
What should NOT be done?
- Allow unauthorized persons to work.
- Repair the charger yourself or perform repairs while it is in operation.
- Use the charger with an open casing or damaged cables.
- Touch connectors and cables during charging.
- Move, transport, or disconnect the charger while charging.
- Expose the device to water, liquids, or heat.
- Charge batteries with a capacity or type other than that specified in the manufacturer's specifications.
Failure or accident?
- If something breaks down, turn off the device, secure it against restarting, and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not move anything and inform your supervisor.
- In the event of an accident, immediately provide first aid to the injured person and call emergency services if necessary.
- Hang a sign on the damaged trolley: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT USE."

First aid
- Eye contact: immediately rinse with plenty of water and call a doctor.
- Skin contact: wash with soap and water; if irritation occurs, consult a doctor.
- If electrolyte is swallowed: rinse mouth, drink plenty of water, do not induce vomiting.
- Fire: extinguish with a powder, foam, or gas fire extinguisher.
