Before you start work, remember that you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS
- The workplace should be well lit.
- Service work may only be performed by an authorized person.
Before starting the wrapper:
- Check the technical condition of the device and the electrical installation for damage, e.g., missing/worn cable insulation.
- Secure the power cord so that it is not damaged by passing carts.
- Remove unnecessary items from the workplace so that you have access to all its components.
- Check the location of the wrapping machine: make sure it is dry and stable.
- Make sure that starting work will not pose a threat to your surroundings.

During operation:
- Fold materials so that they do not pose an additional hazard.
- Keep your workplace clean.
- Place the goods to be wrapped in a stable position.
- Turn off the device if you notice any irregularities.
- Do not touch moving parts of the machine or the goods being wrapped.

After finishing work:
- Turn off the device after finishing work.
- Clean up the work area and clean the device according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Before cleaning, unplug the device and use only a soft cloth with a mild soap and water solution.
- Make sure that the device does not pose a hazard to the environment when left unattended.

What NOT to do?
- Allow unauthorized persons to work with the device.
- Repair the device yourself or perform other actions not recommended by the manufacturer.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on the device while it is in operation.
- Leave the workplace while the device is in operation.
- Touch moving parts of the machine.
- Climb onto the platform of the wrapping machine while it is in operation.
- Work with the covers removed or remove the covers during operation.
- Wrap goods with a weight and dimensions greater than those recommended by the manufacturer.
Failure or accident?
- If something breaks down, disconnect the wrapper, secure it against restarting, and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
- Hang a sign on the damaged device: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT TURN ON."
