Rules for moving around the warehouse

Every person entering the warehouse is required to:

  • Wear protective footwear, a reflective vest, and, if necessary, a protective helmet when moving around in the high storage area.
  • Follow the guidelines below so that their behavior does not endanger themselves or other warehouse employees.
  • Follow vertical and horizontal safety signs, i.e., pictograms, posters, instructions, and prohibition, mandatory, warning, and information signs.

  • Move only along designated pedestrian routes (blue).
  • Move in a column: one behind the other.
  • Do not enter the traffic lane directly in front of an approaching vehicle or from outside a vehicle or other obstacle that limits visibility.
  • Do not obstruct or impede the movement of forklift trucks.
  • Do not walk near loading ramps.

  • Do not walk directly under warehouse gates or enter roller beds.
  • Do not move in the high-bay storage area.
  • Keep a safe distance from machines and transport equipment.
  • In case of danger, stop the conveyor belt using the emergency switch.

General safety conditions in the warehouse:

  • No smoking or use of electronic devices, and no open flames 

  • No bringing in sources of fire, such as lighters or matches
  • No flammable substances, such as hairspray, nail polish, or disinfectants
  • No alcohol consumption or bringing alcohol into the warehouse
  • No eating in the warehouse area

  • Prohibition on bringing in personal items, except for food and drink, which may be brought in a transparent bag

  • No headphones or listening to music
  • No loose clothing, jewelry, or ID lanyards

  • Prohibition on using cell phones while moving
  • No walking under loads suspended on forklifts

  • No climbing on or leaning against shelves
  • Prohibition on touching moving parts of machines
