 Get ready for work—you must wear:

  • a helmet,
  • knee and elbow pads,
  • sturdy, closed-toe shoes.

Before using a scooter, remember that you must:

  • Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training,
  • Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
  • Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used in the workplace.
  • Have good eyesight, balance, and reflexes.

Before you start riding:

  • Check the condition of the scooter: brakes, screw connections, drive, pressure mechanisms.
  • Report any faults or concerns to the Technical Department.
  • Make sure the scooter is clean, charged, and ready for use.

While riding:

  • Keep both hands on the handlebars and your feet on the footboard.
  • Fold the footrest before starting to ride.
  • Ride smoothly and carefully, avoiding sudden starts, turns, and braking.
  • Avoid bumps, obstacles, and slippery surfaces.
  • Brake smoothly – release the throttle and use the brake levers (left – rear, right – front).
  • Do not use the throttle while braking.
  • When the scooter is not in use, turn it off to prevent accidental start-up.
  • Be especially careful around pedestrians and other road users.

After finishing your ride

  • Park the scooter in a designated, marked area.
  • Make sure that it does not pose a hazard and is secured against use by unauthorized persons.

What NOT to do?

  • Ride on wet, slippery, uneven, or frozen surfaces.
  • Use the scooter in the rain or in high humidity.
  • Ride under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that impair your ability to ride,
  • Exceed the maximum load capacity,
  • Use the scooter by more than one person,
  • Touch the motor, brakes, and wheels immediately after riding,
  • Modify or repair the scooter yourself,
  • Leaving the scooter at intersections, on emergency routes, or on slopes,
  • Use damaged equipment.

Breakdown or accident?

  • If something breaks down, turn off the device and secure it against restarting, and report the fault to your supervisor. 
  • Secure the faulty device against use by hanging a sign on the damaged trolley: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR - DO NOT USE."
  • If an accident has occurred, do not move anything and inform your supervisor.
  • In the event of an accident, immediately provide first aid to the injured person and, if necessary, call the emergency services.
