 Get ready for work—you must wear:

  • a work shirt and pants,
  • work shoes with composite toe caps,
  • work gloves,
  • a reflective vest.

Before you start work, remember that you must:

  • Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
  • Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
  • Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.

Before starting work:  

  • Check the battery connections and their charge level.
  • Check the operation of the brush and suction switch. 
  • Prepare cleaning agents in accordance with the operating instructions. 
  • Adjust and check the correct operation of the machine's moving parts (wipers, brushes, vacuum cleaner).

During operation:  

  • Move in such a way as not to pose a threat to the surroundings. 
  • If you encounter bystanders, make sure they can see you (make eye contact or speak to them). 
  • Mark the cleaned area with warning signs.
  • Use personal protective equipment when emptying the recovery tank.

After finishing work:

  • Turn off the machine after finishing work.
  • Return the machine to its designated storage location. 
  • Perform daily maintenance in accordance with the operating instructions.

What should NOT be done?

  • Operate a machine that is damaged. 
  • Repair or modify the machine yourself. 
  • Paint over or remove warning signs.

Breakdown or accident?

  • If something breaks down, turn off the machine, secure it against restarting, and report the fault to your supervisor.
  • If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
  • Hang a sign on the damaged machine saying: "MACHINE UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT TURN ON."
