  • Mark the area where the work is to be performed.
  • Make sure that the area to be cleaned is clearly marked and safe.

During work:

  • Move in such a way as not to pose a threat to the surroundings.
  • If you encounter bystanders, make sure they can see you (make eye contact or speak to them).
  • Do not block passageways, doors, or walkways.
  • If you are working indoors, place warning signs in the doorway.
  • Collect any remaining water stains with a machine or wipe them dry.
  • Use personal protective equipment when emptying the recovery tank.

After finishing work:

  • Tidy up the workplace.
  • Turn off the machine after finishing work.
  • Clean the tools and equipment and put them in the appropriate place.
  • Return the washer to its designated place.

What should you NOT do?

  • Operate a machine that is damaged.
  • Allow unauthorized persons to operate the machine.
  • It is forbidden to drive near places where the washer may fall from a height.
  • Store chemicals in unlabeled containers or in places not designated for this purpose.

  • Paint over or remove warning signs.

Malfunction or accident?

  • If something breaks down, turn off the washer, secure it against restarting, and report the fault to your supervisor.
  • If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
  • Hang a sign on the damaged device: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT TURN ON."
