Before you start work, you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
Before starting work:
- Connect the device to the power supply.
- Ensure that the protective covers are in good working order and in place.
- Turn on the device.

During operation:
- When working with the grinder, do not wear gloves to prevent them from being caught by rotating parts; use them only for preparing the material.
- Select discs with the appropriate grain size for the material being processed.
- Pay attention to the plexiglass guard on the disc. It must be closed.
- Do not press the workpiece excessively against the grinder disc.

After finishing work:
- Turn off the device.
- Tidy up the workplace.

What should you NOT do?
- Work with the device if you are not feeling well (e.g., dizziness, weakness, malaise).
- Work on a damaged device.
- Work on the device without allowing time for the engine to cool down.
- Perform repairs or modifications yourself.
- Perform work that is not in accordance with the intended use of the device.
Failure or accident?
- If something breaks down, turn off the device, secure it against restarting, and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
- Hang a sign on the damaged device saying: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT USE."
