Before you start work, remember that you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
Before starting work:
- Connect the machine to the power supply and visually assess its condition.
- Make sure there is enough space around the machine to perform the work safely.
- Secure loose clothing and its elements against entanglement.

During work:
- If you notice any irregularities, turn off the device and inform your supervisor.
- Remember to remove items such as staples, nails, and wires from the cardboard box before inserting it into the cutter.
- Keep your hands at a safe distance from moving and sharp parts of the machine.
- Keep an eye on the cutter at all times while it is in operation and do not leave it unattended.
- Follow the safety instructions.

After finishing work:
- Turn off the device after finishing work.
- Clean up the work area.
- Do not use flammable liquids or water to clean the machine.
- When cleaning, remember that the power plug must be disconnected.
- Make sure that the device does not pose a hazard to the environment.
What should NOT be done?
- Allow unauthorized persons to operate the machine.
- Work with damaged equipment.
- Work with open covers.
- Modify or repair the device yourself.
- Use the equipment for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
- Paint over or remove safety labels.
Failure or accident?
- If something breaks, stop using the device and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
- Hang a sign saying "OUT OF SERVICE" on the damaged workstation.
- In the event of an accident, immediately administer first aid to the injured person and call the emergency services if necessary.
