Before you start work, remember that you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
Before starting work:
- Visually check the technical condition of the electrical installation of the device.
- Visually check the technical condition of the oil hose connections.
- Make sure that the mechanisms are undamaged and engaged.
- Before working under the vehicle, make sure that the locks are activated.
- Before leaving the car, make sure that no one is underneath it.

During work:
- If you find any damage, stop working and report it to your supervisor.
- Take care of the technical condition of the lift.
- Secure loose items of clothing to prevent them from getting caught.
- Do not move away from the control panel while the lift is in motion.
- When the lift is in operation, ensure your own safety and that of others (keep a safe distance).
- After lifting the car, turn off the lift and secure the switch with a padlock to protect it from unauthorized persons.
- Follow the information on the plate to ensure safety.

After finishing work:
- Clean the lift.
- Tidy up the work area.
- Before cleaning the jack, disconnect it from the power supply.
- Lower the lift to its lowest position.
- Make sure that the device does not pose any danger to the surroundings.
What should NOT be done?
- Allow unauthorized persons to work with the device.
- Leave the workplace while the lift is in operation.
- Affect the stability of a vehicle on a raised lift.
- Lift one end, one corner, or one side of the vehicle.
- Modify or repair the lift and equipment yourself.
- Use the lift contrary to its intended purpose.
Breakdown or accident?
- If something breaks, stop using the equipment and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not move anything and inform your supervisor.
- Hang a sign saying "OUT OF SERVICE" on the damaged workstation.
- In the event of an accident, immediately administer first aid to the injured person and, if necessary, call the emergency services.
