Before you start work, remember that in order to work on the line, you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training,
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work,
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
Before starting work:
- Visually check the technical condition of the machine.
- Check the condition of the insulation of wires and cables, plugs, switches, and sockets.
- Make sure that all safety devices (e.g., service doors, guards) are in place.

- Check the moving parts of the machine for objects that could interfere with its operation.
- Ensure that the packaging film is correctly installed (check the diagram for the correct placement of the film on the machine cover).

- Use the control panel to calibrate the machine's operating parameters in accordance with the operating instructions.
- Perform a test sealing process and correct the parameters if necessary.
- Report any faults or deficiencies you notice immediately to your supervisor.

During operation:
- Maintain visual or audio contact with other operators to ensure efficient and safe operation of the machine.
- Place the goods on the rollers in front of the sensor line and push them lightly until the conveyor belt picks them up.

- Only collect the welded goods once they have reached the end of the conveyor belt and cooled down, then transfer them to the designated location.

- Notify other operators of your intention to stop the machine or change the operating parameters.
- Replace the film rolls as a team (at least 2 people) with the machine turned off, using safeguards against accidental start-up.
- Install the film in accordance with the machine's operating instructions.
- Use the recommended film shrinkage temperature in the range of 140°C – 170°C.
After finishing work:
- Turn off the machine - lever in the "0" position.
- Inspect the machine and remove any objects that could interfere with its operation when restarting.
- Check the condition of the film and replace the rolls with new ones if necessary.
- Perform a visual inspection for technical faults.
- Secure the machine against unauthorized operation by third parties.
- If you notice any technical faults with the machine, report them to your immediate supervisor.

What should you NOT do?
- Repair or maintain equipment if you are not authorized or trained to do so.
- Do not repair or maintain equipment that is in motion and under voltage.
- Leave packaging in the shrink chamber when the conveyor is stopped.
- Use film with a shrink temperature above 170°C (risk of harmful fumes).
- Pack products with a vapor ignition temperature lower than 600°C.
- Remove covers and housings from electrical connections while the machine is in operation.
- Put your hands into the shrinking chamber or remove stuck-on film residue from the conveyor and sealing device (risk of entanglement and burns).
- Insert limbs or objects into the sealing bar's operating area and touch its hot parts (risk of burns and crushing).
- Do not exceed shrink temperatures above 250°C.
- Install film rolls with a diameter greater than 300 mm.
- Place goods exceeding 80 cm in height.
- Operate the machine in a manner inconsistent with its intended use.
Failure or accident?
- If something breaks down, disconnect the device from the power supply and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not move anything and inform your supervisor.
- In the event of an accident, provide first aid to the injured person and call the emergency services if necessary.
- In case of fire, immediately disconnect the machine from the power supply.
