Before you start work, remember that you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
Before starting work:
- Connect the workstation to the power supply.
- After performing a visual inspection, turn on the device.
- Follow the instructions and procedures.
During operation:
- Connect the connector to the flow meter under test.
- Install the flow meter under test upstream of the reference flow meter.
- Perform a performance test.

After finishing work:
- Turn off the device.
- Disconnect the device from the power supply.
- Clean up the work area.

What should you NOT do?
- Work with the machine despite damage.
- Use workstation components contrary to their intended purpose and specifications.
- Modify the machine yourself.
- Perform ad hoc repairs yourself.
- Paint over, correct, or remove safety signs.
Breakdown or accident?
- If something breaks down, stop using the device and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
- Hang a sign saying "OUT OF SERVICE" on the damaged workstation.
- In the event of an accident, provide first aid to the injured person and call the emergency services if necessary.
