Get ready for work—you must wear:

• a work shirt and pants,
• work shoes with composite toe caps.

Before you start work, remember that you must:      

• Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
• Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
• Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.

Before starting work: 

• Connect the workstation to the power supply.
• After performing a visual inspection, turn on the device.
• Follow the instructions and procedures. 

During operation:

• Connect the connector to the flow meter under test. 
• Install the flow meter under test upstream of the reference flow meter. 
• Perform a performance test. 

After finishing work:  

• Turn off the device.
• Disconnect the device from the power supply.
• Clean up the work area. 

What should you NOT do?

• Work with the machine despite damage.
• Use workstation components contrary to their intended purpose and specifications.
• Modify the machine yourself. 
• Perform ad hoc repairs yourself.
• Paint over, correct, or remove safety signs.

Breakdown or accident?

• If something breaks down, stop using the device and report the fault to your supervisor.
• If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
• Hang a sign saying "OUT OF SERVICE" on the damaged workstation.
• In the event of an accident, provide first aid to the injured person and call the emergency services if necessary.
