Before you start work, remember that you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training,
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines, equipment, and tools used in the workplace.
Before starting work:
- Visually check the technical condition of the equipment and report any faults to your supervisor immediately.
- Adjust the workstation to suit the work (good lighting and sufficient space to perform the work).
- Set the blade according to the material being processed.

- Check that starting the equipment will not cause any danger.
- Prepare all protective elements in accordance with the device's operating instructions.

During operation:
- Remove metal parts from the materials to be cut.
- Turn on the device.
- Check that the direction of rotation is as indicated on the disc; if necessary, mount the disc correctly.

- Keep the guards and safety components in full working order; report any damage to the designated person for repair.
- When cutting long elements, use additional support for the element being cut.
- Do not overload the machine; apply minimal pressure to the blade.
- Hold the cut elements securely and firmly on the work table.

- Make adjustments (blade replacement) with the machine disconnected from the power supply.
- If the gap between the blade and the parallel guide is too small (less than 120 mm), use a stick to push the material being cut.
- Keep your work area tidy.
After finishing work:
- Turn off the circular saw, clean it, and tidy up your work area.
- Replace the sawdust bag according to the instructions in the user manual.

What NOT to do?
- Allow unauthorized persons to be near the saw or while it is in operation.
- Remove covers and safety devices.
- Use the circular saw with damaged guards and safety devices.
- Bring your hands close to the rotating blade.
- Work without adequate lighting.
- Process materials that are not listed in the operating instructions.
- Use the circular saw with more than one person.
- Use circular saws that do not meet the technical parameters specified in the operating instructions.
- Work with gloves on moving/rotating parts.
- Pull the plug out of the socket or pull on the machine's power cord.
Breakdown or accident?
- If something breaks down, stop working and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not move anything and inform your supervisor.
- In the event of a malfunction that poses a threat to the environment, switch off the device immediately and hang a sign saying: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT SWITCH ON."
- In the event of an accident, immediately administer first aid to the injured person and, if necessary, call the emergency services.
