Before starting work, remember that you must:
- Complete training in occupational health and safety and on-the-job training
- Have no contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines, equipment, and tools used at your workplace.
Before starting work:
- Visually check the technical condition of the equipment and immediately report any faults to your supervisor.
- Prepare your workplace (good lighting and sufficient space to perform your work).
- Make sure that starting the circular saw does not pose a hazard.
- Each time, check that the saw blade does not touch any parts of the table.
- Prepare the equipment and personal protective equipment necessary for work and maintain order in the workplace.
During work:
- Remove metal parts from the materials to be cut.
- Check that the direction of rotation matches the marking on the blade and, if necessary, install the blade correctly.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Do not overload the machine, apply minimal pressure to the disc.
- Keep protective covers and safety components in good working order and report any damage to the person designated for repairs.

- Use additional support when cutting long pieces.
- Hold the cut elements securely and stably on the work table.

- Adjustments (replacement of guards) must be made with the power turned off.
- Remove cut pieces only after the device has come to a complete stop.
- Keep your work area tidy.
After finishing work:
- Turn off the saw, clean it, empty the dust container if it is full, and tidy up your workstation.
- Inform the person replacing you about the technical condition of the saw.

What is NOT ALLOWED?
- Allow unauthorized persons to be near the saw or while it is in operation.
- Use inappropriate or damaged tools.
- Remove protective covers and safety devices from the saw.
- Use the saw with damaged guards or safety devices.
- Bring your hands close to the rotating blade.
- Remove pieces of material from the table with your hands or other objects while the machine is running.
- Cutting round wood, e.g., branches, and large-size elements.
- Work with a blunt tool.
- Machine elements exceeding the values specified in the technical data of the saw.
- Use saw blades that do not comply with the technical parameters specified in the operating instructions.
- Use the device near flammable liquids or gases.
- Remove the plug from the socket by pulling on the machine's power cord.
Malfunction or accident?
- If something breaks down, stop working and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and notify your supervisor.
- In the event of a malfunction that poses a threat to the environment, switch off the device immediately and place a sign saying: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR - DO NOT SWITCH ON."
- In the event of an accident, immediately administer first aid to the injured person and call the emergency services if necessary.
