Before you start work, you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
Before starting work:
- Visually check the technical condition of the crane.
- Turn on the crane's power supply.
- Test the correct operation of the limit switches, lifting brake, and stop button—perform the test without a load.

During operation:
- Make sure that the crane's travel path is free of obstacles.
- Comply with the permissible load capacity standards (2 tons).
- Observe the load while driving and rotating the crane.
- When holding the load on the hook, you must have the remote control within reach.
- Keep the working area around the crane tidy.
After finishing work:
- Turn off the crane's power supply.
- Tidy up the workstation.
- Enter any comments in the report book.
What is NOT ALLOWED?
- Lift unstable loads.
- Lift unevenly distributed loads.
- Lift loads that are incorrectly secured.
- Stand under the crane while it is in operation.
- Use the crane for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
- Work in conditions with limited visibility.
- Start the crane when it is damaged.
- Work without personal protective equipment.
- Leave the crane unattended while it is in operation.
- Performing repairs yourself if you are not authorized to do so.
Breakdown or accident?
- If something breaks down, turn off the crane, secure it against restarting, and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not move anything and inform your supervisor.
- Hang a sign on the damaged crane saying: "EQUIPMENT UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT USE."
