Before you start work, remember that you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
Before starting the press container:
- Check the technical condition of the press, grounding, and electrical installation for damage, e.g., insulation of wires.
- Make sure that all levers and buttons that activate the press are turned off.
- Check that the guards are in place.
- Run the press without load as a test.

During operation:
- Be careful when placing goods in the container.
- Protect your hands from cuts.
- Use safeguards to prevent accidental start-up of the press.
- Follow the instructions of the technological process.
- Remove the item using the auxiliary tools installed on the press.
- In the event of a power failure, turn off the main switch.
- Protect the electrical system from moisture and grease.

After finishing work:
- Turn off the press.
- Disconnect the press drive using the main switch and secure it against unauthorized operation.
- Tidy up the finished parts and the entire workstation.

What is NOT ALLOWED?
- Work on the press with the safety covers removed.
- Open or remove covers and guards while the machine is running.
- Work on the press if you suspect that parts or safety devices are damaged.
- Leave the press switched on without supervision.
- Repair or maintain presses by unauthorized persons.
- Clean the press station while it is in operation.
- Operate the press without the required personal protective equipment.
- Put your hands into the press.
- Enter the crushing chamber.

Breakdown or accident?
- If something breaks down, turn off the press, secure it against restarting, and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
- Hang a sign on the damaged device: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT TURN ON."
