Before you start work, you must:
- complete health and safety training and on-the-job training,
- have no health contraindications to performing the work,
- be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
Before starting work:
- Read the health and safety instructions.
- Put on personal protective equipment.
- Check the technical condition of the vise.
- Adjust your workstation (good lighting, adequate space).
- Check that the vice is stable and on a level surface.

During work:
- Pay attention to the tasks you are performing and ensure safety.
- Keep your workplace tidy and organized.
- Do not overload the vise.
- Use personal protective equipment.
After finishing work:
- Turn off the device.
- Tidy up the workplace.
- Clean the vise after each use.
What should you NOT do?
- Work on a damaged device.
- Perform repairs or modifications yourself.
- Perform work that is not in accordance with the intended use of the device.
- Eat meals while working at your workstation.
Breakdown or accident?
- If something breaks down, stop using the tool, make sure it does not pose a threat to others, and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not move anything and inform your supervisor.
- Hang a sign on the damaged device: "TOOL UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT USE."
