SpeedRoller SR Outdoor gate operation

138.

Get ready for work—you must wear:

  • A work shirt and pants,
  • Work shoes with composite toe caps.

Before you start work, you must:

  • Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
  • Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
  • Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.

Before starting work:

  • Visually check the technical condition of the gate.
  • Assess the condition of the gate's power cables; if you find any damage, report it to your supervisor.
  • Before opening or closing, check that no one is in the gate's movement area.

During operation:

  • Drive the forklift (at a speed of 3 km/h) up to the battery room gate, get out of it, and open the gate using the button on the control panel.
  • Make sure that the gate is fully open before driving under it. The gate will close automatically after 20 seconds.
  • Be careful when lifting the gate and driving through it.
  • If the gate does not operate automatically, use the control panel to lower or raise it.

After finishing work:

  • Tidy up the work area.
  • Drive the trolley (at a speed of 3 km/h) in front of the battery room gate; the sensor will detect the movement of the trolley and the gate will open automatically.
  • Make sure that the gate has opened completely and drive out of the battery room; the gate will close automatically after 20 seconds.

What NOT to do?

  • Repair or maintain equipment by unauthorized persons.
  • Repair or maintain equipment that is in motion and under voltage.
  • Restart the machine or device without repairing the damage.
  • Drive or walk under a gate that is in motion.
  • Pass through the gate when there is a door intended for this purpose nearby.
  • Manipulate the safety curtain or block it.

Failure or accident?

  • If something breaks down, switch off the device and secure it against restarting (red emergency button on the gate control panel) and report the fault to your supervisor.
  • If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
