Get ready for work—you must wear:

  • a work shirt and pants,
  • work shoes with composite toe caps,
  • safety glasses,
  • protective gloves.

Before you start work, remember that you must:

  • Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
  • Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
  • Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace. 

Before starting work: 

  • Check that the equipment is correctly installed and that the safety switch is working.
  • Tidy up the area around the machines so that there is at least 60 cm of free space around the machine. 
  • Follow the instructions and procedures. 
  • Verify that the film roll is correctly installed. 

During operation:

  • During operation, if the pillows are not sealed properly, adjust using the "+/-" buttons.
  • If the film roll runs out, stop the machine, replace the roll, and switch it back to automatic mode. 

After finishing work:

  • Turn off the machine. 
  • Clean up the work area. 

What NOT to do?

  • Allow unauthorized persons to operate the machine.
  • Work with damaged equipment.
  • Modify or repair the equipment yourself. 
  • Use the equipment for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
  • Paint over or remove safety labels. 

Malfunction or accident?

  • If something breaks, stop using the device and report the fault to your supervisor.
  • If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
  • Hang a sign saying "OUT OF SERVICE" on the damaged workstation.
  • In the event of an accident, immediately administer first aid to the injured person and call the emergency services if necessary.
