Get ready for work—you must wear:

  • a work shirt and pants,
  • work shoes with composite toe caps,
  • work gloves.

Before you start work, you must:

  • Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
  • Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
  • Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
  • Be familiar with the technical and operational documentation.

Before starting work: 

  • Check the technical condition of the equipment in your workplace. 
  • Check the operation of the emergency switch and the main switch. 
  • Check that there are no loose parts that could damage the machine or pose a danger to you or other employees. 
  • Check the weight of the objects being moved and compare it with the lifting standards.
  • If you have loose clothing or loose hanging items (e.g., lanyard with pass, suspenders on work clothes), secure them to prevent them from getting caught. 
  • If you have long hair, tie it back in a braid or bun, or wear a protective net.

While working:

  • Lift objects with your back straight. 
  • Observe the maximum weight of a filled container (30 kg).
  • Follow safety rules and work in accordance with technical and operational documentation. 
  • Only cross to the other side of the Skypod system in designated areas and justified situations.

After finishing work:

  • Tidy up the work area. 
  • Notify your supervisor that the assigned work has been completed. 
  • If you are unable to complete the work during your shift, secure the area against unauthorized access. 

What is NOT ALLOWED?

  • Walk on the transport system or lean on the conveyor, regardless of whether it is in motion or not.
  • Exceed the permissible load capacity of the containers (30 kg). 
  • Use containers other than those dedicated to the Skypod system. 
  • Transport hazardous materials. 
  • Listen to music or the radio while working. 
  • Work in loose clothing, jewelry, or with long hair down.
  • Have repairs and upgrades performed by unauthorized persons.
  • Cross the fence. 
  • Start conveyors during maintenance work.

Failure or accident?

  • Immediately report any malfunction or damage to the machine to your supervisor.
  • In the event of an accident, provide first aid to the injured.
  • Report every accident at work to your supervisor and do not change the condition of the workplace.
  • In case of fire, immediately disconnect the machine from the power supply.
  • If you notice a hazard to the machine or people, press the emergency stop button.
  • In the event of a breakdown, secure the machine against restarting and place a warning sign.
  • During repairs, disconnect the power supply and mark the machine: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR - DO NOT TURN ON."
