Before you start work, remember that you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
Before starting work:
- Check the technical condition of the power cord and plug.
- Check the technical condition of the vacuum cleaner.
- Check that the drain pipe is correctly connected to the check valve.
During operation:
- Apply the brake on the swivel wheel of the trolley and then start it.
- After starting the vacuum cleaner, unroll the pipe and start working.
- Make sure that the extended parts of the vacuum cleaner do not pose a hazard and are not damaged.
- Do not turn on the vacuum cleaner after an emergency shutdown without emptying the tank.
After finishing work:
- Turn off the vacuum cleaner after finishing work.
- After turning it off, secure the vacuum cleaner components in a metal case so that they are not mechanically damaged.
- The tank will empty automatically after work is completed.
What should NOT be done?
- Make any modifications or repairs yourself.
- Use the vacuum cleaner for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
- Ignore the instructions in the user manual.
Malfunction or accident?
- If something breaks down, disconnect the device from the power supply, secure it against restarting, and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
- Hang a sign on the damaged device saying: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT TURN ON."
