Before you start work, you must:
- Complete health and safety training and on-the-job training.
- Have no health contraindications to performing the work.
- Be familiar with the operating instructions for the machines and equipment used at your workplace.
Before starting work:
- Check the technical condition of the equipment.
- Check the operation of the main and emergency switches.
- Make sure that all guards are in place.
- Lubricate the rubber ring inside the handle.
- Run the balancing machine on a trial basis and check that the direction of rotation is correct.

During operation:
- Clean the wheel before mounting it on the machine.
- After mounting the wheel, check that it is correctly installed.
- Work carefully with the control elements.
- Be careful, especially when the machine is in operation.
- Use only serviceable tools in accordance with their intended purpose.
- Follow lifting standards when moving materials.
- Use auxiliary equipment for heavier materials.
- Keep your workplace tidy.

After finishing work:
- Tidy up your workstation.
- Turn off the machine.
- Remove stubborn stains using mild cleaning agents.
What should NOT be done?
- Have repairs carried out by unauthorized persons.
- Remove safety guards.
- Operate material handling equipment without authorization.
- Leave the device unattended.
- Modify the electrical system.
- Clean the balancing machine with compressed air.

Failure or accident?
- If something breaks down, turn off the device, secure it against restarting, and report the fault to your supervisor.
- If an accident has occurred, do not touch anything and inform your supervisor.
- Hang a sign on the damaged device: "DEVICE UNDER REPAIR – DO NOT USE."
